wishful-me

wishful-me. I believe I read in your very first October of 2004 entries that it kind of gives a nod to the fact that you're a wishful thinker. That's cool. Even if that's not what it means, I like that better. Your title is obviously from the same song (if it isn't the title) as the lyrics used on your image. Nothing too impressive. Never heard the song.

First of all, I could totally tell that it was an FSD design. A lot of their layouts look the same and they all use lyrics. Second of all centered. text. Hold on a moment while I go sit in the corner and pull my hair out of my head. I really HATE centered text in the entry box. It looks so...cheap. A centered short description, date, and time are all fine and dandy. An entire entry centered? Are you freaking kidding me? It looks so unorganized. It really makes me hate your layout, but I'll try not to hold a grudge while reviewing your content.

Alright, I looked at your newest entry before I looked at anything else, mainly because it was a bunch of pictures and HOLY HELL! You look really young. It prompted me to go in search of your age. I hope that you're mature for your age. I read your cast page next to get the skinny on people and then I kept on truckin' straight into your October 2004 entries. The first thing I have to say about them is that although you try to use grammar and punctuation correctly, you kind of fall short. You over use commas like a mother! It's comma over kill. It's like, commas are meant to signal a pause right? Well, pausing too many times in one sentence breaks up speech too much and makes for bumpy reading. The next thing I have to say is that you try to be almost, I don't know, poetic in the way that you describe things and the way that you write. This entry was really flippin aggravating and is a prime example of you trying to be poetic. Rather than just coming out and talking about yesterday's events you wanna pretend to be Nora Jones and sit there talking about things you don't know. This is supposed to be intersting to me (or anyone else) how? Furthermore, if YOU don't know why you act the way you do how the hell are WE supposed to? You know yourself better than any reader who stumbles across your page, don't ask us. Even if it is metaphorical.

In my personal opinion, Kerry can just go dig himself a hole, and fall in it.
I feel that way about Bush. You're young, idealistic, and probably patriotic too. I wouldn't doubt that you've bought into every word that Bush has uttered and mispronounced since day 1. War on terror? Okay, I understand that. Invading Iraq and killing hundreds of Iraqi men, women, and children NOT TO MENTION American soldiers who gave their lives for a cause that was never ours to begin with just because you THINK that they have weapons of mass destruction while the entire time you KNOW that South Korea has WoMD but you do nothing even though the UN is telling you that invading Iraq is a bad idea and no one is behind you on that front? Right on Bush. You go boy. Git 'er done! Leave us vulnerable to the people who could REALLY hurt us. Yeah, that's my idea of a great president who is only thinking of his people. *Le sigh* He's a keeper...

Moving on. That's not a hypocrite honey, that's called two-faced and I do feel your pain. The sucky part is, it's never going to go away because there will always be some girl who wants to talk shit behind your back but won't have the balls to say it to your face. I find that I'm much more interested in you when you tell me stories rather than when you're trying to be poetic in short entries that tell me nothing.

Found us. I do have to say that your lack of links makes the page look weird. Or, maybe it isn't so much your links, now that I look at it, as it is your navigation box as a whole.

Extras - 5/5
Tons of extras!

Stalkability - 2/5
Email and notes. I'd be shit out of luck if I wanted to stalk you.

Will We Return - 3/5
Small chance that I could come back. You never know.

We Totally Heart You! 10/15
Contrary to how it might seem based on my review of your content, I did read your diary from proverbial cover to cover. As I said, you tend to try and be poetic and I like you much more when you're just telling a story in a normal way without trying to be thought-provoking, but that's just me. Call me crazy. And despite my Bush outburst, I do think it's really cool that you want to vote and be involved in how your country is run and that you want to have a say in who runs it. A lot of kids your age--hell, a lot of adults my age!--don't want to be involved and they don't think it's important.
